I experienced my first magnitude 7.0-7.5 earthquake when I was 22 months old. It almost knocked me to the ground. That 1946 Vancouver Island earthquake struck Vancouver Island on June 23 at 10:15 a.m.[1] with a magnitude estimated at 7.0 Ms[2] and 7.5 Mw.[6] The main shock epicenter occurred in the Forbidden Plateau area northwest of Courtenay. While most of the large earthquakes in the Vancouver area occur at tectonic plate boundaries, the 1946 Vancouver Island earthquake was a crustal event. Shaking was felt from Portland, Oregon, to Prince Rupert, British Columbia. This is one of the most damaging earthquakes in the history of British Columbia, but damage was restricted because there were no heavily populated areas near the epicentre, where severe shaking occurred. There were, however, a whole series of landslides in the Forbidden Plateau area there were a whole series of landslides blocked streams and rivers to create lakes. The first hikers into the area gave them great names, Landslide Lake, Rock Fall Lake, Earthquake Lake etc.; over time these natural dams were eroded to nothing, leaving nothing but fading memories of those lakes. This earthquake is Canada's largest historic onshore earthquake.[1] Three years later, an earthquake, an M8.1, struck at 8:01 p.m. PDT on August 2, 1949 in Haida Gwaii [formerly Queen Charlotte Islands], an interplate earthquake that occurred on the ocean bottom just off the west coast of the main south island [Graham Island]. The shock had a surface wave magnitude of 8.1 and a maximum Mercalli Intensity of VIII (Severe). br /> . Our Grandchildren are helping us; and many of you are seniors have just retired from your IT.  Yesterday I had three more desperate calls from scammers trying to get me scared me into giving them as they want to get access to our money.

In 2015 my ID was stolen.  I, Stan G. Webb, had been a Certified General Accountant (CGA), class of 1972 for 34 years.  By that time I had been an auditor for the British Columbia  Securities Commission, audited 'trust funds' held by lawyers, audited 20 First Nations, prepared 500 individual and 132 corporate taxes annually. How embarrassed, frustrated and time consuming it was to get all of my ID sorted, threatening calls [we back-traced that to Florida and NO Revenue Canada does not have an office there.  We call-forwarding ] from Revenue Canada to tell me I was going to jail for filing a false income tax return and others telling me my friends and son were in jail in Indonesia if I didn't wire transfer big $$ right away to secure their release, cancelling my online financial presence,  cancel and replace all my credit cards.  I had been using Yahoo for my emails, websites on GeoCities and Yahoo 360 for years.  I took it up with both Revenue and the RCMP and they are just overwhelmed.  All of 5 years work lost.  all of that was because Yahoo had been hacked in 2012 under Marissa Meyers leadership and she did not tell any of us until getting called out in 2015.  It took three more years to fire her sorry ass and [she got $134 million in termination compensation].  All of Yahoo is now owned and controlled in China.  Some California Women's organization just gave her an award, Go Figure ?  We began to work together to end such shameful and unlawful behaviors.  Bill, Mark and Marissa you and many others are all on notice for and guess what some of us are lawyers.  Class Action anyone?  Granny Darkly is recruiting her posse !   It is time for you to to Get Even.
